Humanim’s Day Service Program in Howard County has partnered with Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA), a non-profit organization that offers innovative athletic training, supportive mentor relationships, and mainstream athletic events for athletes living with disabilities. Once a week, two ASA volunteers run with both staff and consumers, getting us all ready to run our first 5k race sometime in the fall.
The excitement in the athletes face is worth every aching muscle!
