To Our Valued Clients, Families, and Stakeholders:
Due to this week’s state mandated safety measures as well as the growing health concern over the coronavirus COVID-19, we have made the decision to suspend our 4 day programs for two weeks beginning on Monday, March 16th, to align with Maryland’s school system closures.
These programs include:
- Gerwig Day Program
- Woodside Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
- Woodside Deaf Services
- Baltimore City Day Program
Humanim’s Transportation Department will suspend all rides during this period.
In addition, all Start on Success (SOS) programming in Maryland will be suspended from March 16th – March 27th as mandated due to school closures.
Clients in our Employment Services Program should continue to report to work as usual. Please contact your job coach with any questions or concerns.
We will continue to provide in-home services to individuals we serve in Residential, Supported Living, Behavioral Support Services, and Personal Supports Programs based on available staffing and will immediately notify all groups of any change.
In the meantime, we will continue to carefully monitor the situation on a daily basis, via updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as any communications from State and Local authorities, and provide timely updates to our stakeholders.
