Humanim’s Award-Winning Administrative Assistant Career Training Program celebrated the graduation of the Fall 2023 cohorts in Baltimore and Harford County! The graduates participated in a rigorous, nine week training where they gained interview and office skills needed to obtain administrative careers. Graduates also earned nationally recognized certifications including Microsoft Office Specialist and the Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE).
Ceremonies were held to honor the students’ diligent efforts and accomplishments, with the presence of friends, family, and community partners. Attendees were inspired by words of encouragement and reflections shared by both the Workforce Development team and class speakers.
Keynote speakers and previous graduates of the program, Anastasia Myers, Class of 2022, and Catherine Cheeseboro, Class of 2017 provided valuable insights for the students to carry with them as they embark on a new journey.

“Don’t forget that you are capable. You are equipped and right where you are supposed to be,” Catherine said. “So, continue to invest in yourself. Bet on you. Apply the skills you’ve learned and remember nothing is missing, you’re right where you are supposed to be.”
We can’t wait to see what the graduates accomplish next!
