For the last year our culinary social enterprise City Seeds has been part of the REDF SE4Jobs Accelerator program, alongside other talented, employment-focused social enterprise leaders across the nation.  After being chosen to participate in this prestigious program, we are happy to share that our Director of City Seeds – Deborah Haust – has won the program’s final Pitch Competition! Congrats Deborah! And a big thank you to REDF for this incredible oppoortunity – and for joining us in Baltimore at the American Brewery Humanim offices to celebrate!

The REDF SE4Jobs Accelerator brings together a cohort of talented employment-focused social enterprise leaders each year who serve people striving to overcome barriers to employment, with the objective of transitioning these workers into competitive, long-term jobs. Through the program, leaders receive expert guidance on core business competencies, employee support programs, and have the opportunity to build peer networks, ultimately helping them increase job readiness and long-term employment success for the people they serve.
