Humanim Health Homes program receives CARF Supplemental Accreditation

First provider in Maryland to be recognized by CARF

CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitations Facilities, was at Humanim this week to conduct a supplemental survey of our (new) Health Homes Program—a program that integrates primary healthcare with behavioral healthcare. CARF concluded the survey with no recommendations or consultations. Humanim’s participation is one, of just two agencies, accredited by CARF in Maryland.

The surveyor commented that “this is a wonderful program and that the professional staff are a testament to why the program is so successful.” Most importantly, the clients that were interviewed were able to clearly show what a positive impact this program is having on their lives – and at the end of the day, that is what it is all about.
