New and innovative ideas were on tap at the Brew & Brainstorm event last week. Maryland young professionals and impact leaders arrived energized and ready for networking and intentional discussion at Humanim’s Baltimore headquarters, the historic American Brewery.
Savory appetizers provided by City Seeds, Humanim’s culinary social enterprise, paired nicely with local craft beverages from Union Craft Brewing, Off the Rox and Charm City Meadworks.
Cindy Plavier-Truitt, President & CEO of Humanim, challenged the group to think differently about how for-profit, government, and non-profit organizations can partner to create a more just and equitable society. Guests learned more about Humanim’s work in the community, and opportunities to get involved in future impact initiatives!
The Impact Leaders Network (ILN) is a supporting board of passionate young professionals looking to network and meet like-minded peers while catalyzing self-empowerment for those in our communities lacking opportunity through leadership and volunteering. ILN members believe in the potential of every human being and that we should work to build pathways to autonomy for those facing social and economic barriers.
