Our Spring 2019 Administrative Career Training program is in session! Our spring cohort includes two transplants from NYC, a trainee who is fluent in Japanese from his studies in Japan, two salon owners, and a seasoned chef of nine years. All of the trainees are looking for a new and positive direction in their professional life through our admin training program.
This week focused on advanced soft skills training with a special highlight! Janifer, one of our 2016 graduates, came to share her journey with the class. Upon graduation, Janifer was hired at Humanim’s culinary social enterprise City Seeds as their Administrative Coordinator, where she continued to transition into larger roles including City Seeds’ Account Manager, and her current administrative position at Southway Builders where she has seen a significant increase in salary as well as fully paid benefits. The students were able to ask Janifer tons of questions about her experience – and left inspired by her story.
