Earlier this month, Humanim’s Developmental Disability Services Virtual Learning Campus partnered with The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore to host another ZOOmobile. The “Saving Species” ZOOmobile featured three endangered Zoo Ambassadors: an African Penguin, African Grey Parrot, and a Panamanian Golden Frog. Individuals were able to meet each of the animals, learn their stories and what makes them unique, and ask the zookeepers questions. They also learned about the Zoo’s conservation work with a wide range of species.
