Humanim’s Administrative Assistant Training Program, Winter Class of 2020, celebrated their graduation earlier this month! While the program pivoted to a hybrid (in-person and virtual) format last year, the training still offers a robust curriculum. Graduates of the 9-week program gained interview and office skills and received nationally recognized certifications including, Microsoft Office Specialist and the Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence.
To commemorate their incredible work, the graduates celebrated via a Zoom ceremony with friends, family, and community partners. Participants heard words of encouragement and reflection from Humanim’s Workforce Development team along with their class speaker, Akilah McVay. On graduation day, two of the participants had secured employment!
