Participants in our Baltimore Day Program celebrated Black History Month with a fun, energetic, and moving performance this February. Each program participant researched and presented a short biography of a historic black figure from the first Black President of the United States, to civil rights leaders, artists, airplane pilots, business leaders, and the inventor of the traffic light. The event ended with the whole group singing together and enjoying refreshments, including a special Black History Month cake.
