This month individuals in Humanim’s Developmental Disabilities program visited the Columbia Association’s Lakefront Summer Festival for an afternoon concert.
Individuals danced and sang along to the music, and enjoyed the sunny summer day!
As part of our Community Integration program, individuals have access to participate in outings to the local library, county fairs, farms & zoos, restaurants, and other recreational activities within the community!
Brandi, a Direct Support Professional at Humanim, assists in planning and implementing these events, as well as helping individuals create personal goals, exercise independence, and learn skills – all with the goal of empowering individuals to achieve both personal and economic independence.
