Humanim’s Developmental Disability Services shifted to virtual learning classes to stay connected during the pandemic. Participants in Howard County, Baltimore, and our Deaf Services programs join online to participate in different activities and classroom sessions throughout the week. Each week offers a different theme of activities, including health & wellness, safety, communication, personal goals, family/relationships, and stress management. Participants can engage in peer discussions, interactive games, videos, as well as virtual tours of Zoos, Museums, and National Parks. Our virtual learning classes encourage individuals to participate, allow them to continue engaging with peers, and stay involved in Humanim’s programs while at home.
