Individuals in Humanim’s day program recently spent an afternoon outside, planting herbs and vegetables in their new wheelchair-accessible raised garden beds. This project was funded in part by BGE’s Green Grant to help incorporate horticulture education into our Developmental Disability programming. We also want to thank Ellis Family Farm for providing the locally grown herbs and veggies for the garden!
