Student Career Choices (SCC) Virtual Programming

Humanim’s Student Career Choices program utilizes both a classroom and contextual training model to equip high school students who possess a wide range of disabilities and learning styles, with the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to prepare for competitive, integrated employment. This program is offered in partnership with Humanim’s Pre-Employment Transition Services, and will allow students to exit high school with transferable skills such as identifying interest, pinpointing potential job, self-advocate & understanding appropriate work behavior.

Program Details & Schedule:
  • Student Career Choices is a 9 week program of virtual classroom sessions
  • SCC Spring Dates: Wednesday, Feb. 24th to Friday, Apr. 23rd with weekly classes on Wed. & Fri. from 3:30pm – 5pm
  • Incentive provided for program completion

Main Topics Include: Self-Advocacy, Resume Building, Career Exploration, Mock Interviewing, and Virtual Travel Training
