Team Humanim had a great time at this year’s NAMI Walk in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! We were able to raise over $400 through our NAMI walk and fundraising efforts this year, to go toward mental health awareness and treatment.

Join us for our Talk Saves Lives event on May 31st as part of Mental Health Awareness month! Talk Saves Lives will provide an introduction to suicide prevention, where youth and families can learn the warning signs and risk factors of suicide, and how together we can help prevent it.

Humanim Awarded $15,000 Grant by Bank of America

Humanim was awarded a $15,000 grant this week from Bank of America to support and empower individuals through our Financial Stability program. Funds will go toward financial coaching and education, barrier removal and case management services for our social enterprise Details Deconstruction employees.

City Seeds Wins REDF Accelerator Pitch Competition!

For the last year our culinary social enterprise City Seeds has been part of the REDF SE4Jobs Accelerator program, alongside other talented, employment-focused social enterprise leaders across the nation. After being chosen to participate in this prestigious program, we are happy to share that our Director of City Seeds – Deborah Haust – for winning the program’s final Pitch Competition.
