Athletes Serving Athletes Summer 2017

Humanim’s Gerwig Day Progam is proud of our partnership with Athletes Serving Athletes! For the past three years, ASA has helped several of the individuals we serve experience the rush and the joy of competitive sports in racing events throughout the Baltimore area.

Team Humanim at Nami Walk 2017

Team Humanim had a great time at this year’s NAMI Walk in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! We were able to raise over $400 through our NAMI walk and fundraising efforts this year, to go toward mental health awareness and treatment.

Close out Mental Health Awareness Month with Talk Saves Lives

Join us for our Talk Saves Lives event on May 31st as part of Mental Health Awareness month! Talk Saves Lives will provide an introduction to suicide prevention, where youth and families can learn the warning signs and risk factors of suicide, and how together we can help prevent it.

Each year, Humanim participates in NAMI Walks – an annual walk that raises awareness and funds for NAMI organizations across the country. NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
